Pink Peony a botanical garden flower floral watercolor original artwork by Laurie Rohner is detailed realism, a favorite of many. I show the subtle shades of pink burgundy blue and brown as the light hits the petals.
I painted this flower from a photo I had taken of one of my peonies blooming in my very own garden. It is the first of a series of peonies being painted in a range of colors. This painting comes unframed. I used 300lb watercolor cold press paper which is thick with a slight texture (as shown in the second photo).

Since moving back to Vermont I feel the tug or maybe my muse whispering in my ear to get back to my watercolors. Focusing back to creating realism with watercolors and painting botanical flowers and Vermont landscapes.
A single red tulip garden flower watercolor with detailed delicate realism is an original painting by Laurie Rohner.
My red tulip, a botanical original art floral watercolor, represents my love of botanical artwork. It is so real you feel you can scoop it up and hold it.
Great to give as a housewarming gift but why not give to your sweetheart.
My flower stays alive forever.
Can be framed with mat and frame or mounted on mat under glass.
I also love the new way to frame watercolors by adhering the artwork to a board sealing with non yellowing spray and framing as you would any oil painting.
Happy to help with framing options, please ask.

What a month. But after some unrelated conflicts I finally stopped by my town office in Brandon Vermont and applied for my permit to have my studio open. Paid my fee and now my studio is officially a business in Vermont.
I feel like I put the cart before the horse. You see there was someone who harassed me. Threatened me and my business and since I knew I needed to stop by Brandon’s Town Office it pushed me to go.
I always try to find positive energy in turmoil and if this individual was not inserted into my life I would not have gone yet. Also in doing so I met some wonderful people working in the town and got a chance to network in my town.
So thank you for the conflict universe. I am so grateful. A friend keeps focusing on the conflict that started this and my thought is stop, let it go. Don’t take my joy. I feel elated and joyful, positive in the recent choices I made. Mostly I am thrilled delighted and content.. Making the move back to Vermont is very right for me.
As a thank you if you order $200 or more I will send you with your order a bit of Vermont, an antique roof slate with an authentic maple leaf. The leaves amazing red, orange and salmon variations.
Herbs and flowers are illustrated in my watercolor painted on clay board. The watercolor is subtle and makes a wonderful compliment to the ink work. The hint of sky is reminiscence of a summer sky with the herbs and flowers painted in the same subtle hues. I love the contrast of the ink and how the flowers pop.

Oh how much fun painting this sign with a twist. I took an old stretched canvas and repainted a painting of a whimsical farmhouse garden with my sign in the painting. This is the new style, a new branding for my studio. I decided being serious is overrated and fun is so much better.

Love this wonderful quote from Abraham Hicks.
Is harmony one note that everybody is singing? Or is it a whole lot of notes that are in vibrational harmony with each other? When you give your attention to anything, the Universe responds to it. When two of you are giving your attention to it, and there is no contradiction, it is a powerful vortex. That’s why a gathering such as this can achieve a great deal as you come together in greater and greater harmony and take thought beyond that which it has been before.
Beautiful whimsical wild garden flowers are blooming in the garden in this original acrylic painting. Do you love discovering what new blossoms have appeared today? I know I do.
This is a painting of some of my favorite blooms. Find butterfly bush, hollyhocks, columbine, teasel and trout lily are just a few. I chose acrylics on canvas with ink. This painting is much like my watercolors which is a big favorite.
