What are you thankful for today?

Now until Thanksgiving I want people to consciously think about what you are thankful for today.

Today I am thankful for the groundhog that found his or her way into the front yard. She stood up on its legs and stared directly at me for several moments and as I observed this well fed groundhog I thought wouldn’t it be even better to go out and get closer. The groundhog still standing stayed for many more minutes watching me watch him or her. It was a fabulous experience. We sat conversing with no words.
