This is a hard lesson. It is our nature as ego based beings to hold on tightly to what we have fearing all will be lost. Whether it is the last bit of a savory morsel of food to something more substantial like freedom or home. In my life things have become upside-down so I instinctively am trying to make things better, holding on tightly to try again and again. So far this approach not working very well. Then I read this quote to find I understand it. I know in the core of my being this is what I need to do. Many times our lives are reflect the world around us. Could my life be affected by the actions of those around me? Could my life change in a second, in the blink of an eye, head in a new wonderful beautiful direction? Could I, just one person soul help the world let go? What would happen if governments and leaders just did nothing and let it go?
I think many people around the globe are thinking what can they do to stop madness. I do not want to start talking about politics or political and religious beliefs. I want to open my soul up and may be your own and allow love peace and compassion to shine out into the world. Simply be and do nothing. Anger cannot take hold, violence has no path to follow, and truth is found. Could all the turmoil be the Universal Divine Mind teaching us all to let it all go? We all win. Sounds great to me.
