Woodland bunnies for Mom, nursery or bunny lovers.

Have you seen the bunnies in my shop at Between The Weeds?  I cannot paint a bunny without thinking of my Mom who collected bunnies. She loved woodland bunnies and every spring I would buy her a bunny for her collection. She has since passed, so I no longer buy bunnies but I paint bunnies. Every time I create a bunny I smile remembering the sweet soul who adored the little woodland creatures so. It is all good.

The watercolor painting below is a bunny nibbles on some carrot greens while standing up watching around her or should I say What’s up? A whimsical scene for nurseries and bunny lovers(of all ages) the sky is blue and the flowers are blooming all around. On the ground are a few more carrots to be pulled and one at her feet slightly eaten. This is original artwork (not a print).

And in this watercolor of whimsical fun I illustrated a bunny dressed up in her best dress and hat and gave the watercolor a title ‘Ms Flora Bun Goes to Brunch’. This is an original watercolor painting (not a print) and very affordable for bunny lovers and nursery decor.
While painting this character I imagined an independent rabbit maybe mid aged but loved to visit with her fellow woodland animal companions. She picks up her moss basket and on her way to brunch will fill it with berries for everyone’s delight.

Wall artwork for farmhouse, cottage chic and loft decor.
Both of these paintings are painted on Arches 300lb hot pressed watercolor rag paper.
This is slightly rough thick hand made paper.

Small Fact: The paper is so thick you can attach a ribbon to the back and hang it.

These are my original paintings.
